UPDATE:// MOTHER CHEESEPIE! MY CPU WENT BONKERS AGAIN! UGH, I HATE MY COMPUTER!
In keeping with the promise I made (to myself at least) to try and keep this place relatively updated, I shall try my best to churn out an entry by the end of the afternoon. To be frank, nothing much has happened since I last updated. Went out a couple of times, met up with a few friends and chatted the time away - nothing particularly out of the norm. And I believe that I have reached the point of blogging whereby I think a blow by blow account of what happened would truly bore any reader I have, to DEATH. So instead, I think for once in a really long time, I’ll just blog about what I found interesting or interestingly uninteresting, ha-ha (can those two words even be used in the same sentence?)
First off, what is the big deal about Popeye’s Chicken? Had that for dinner one day a while back with Foo and Chia at Century Square; wanted to have BillyBombers but they actually closed the restaurant to open yet another fast food outlet. Look out Singapore, we’re on our way to being as obese as the Americans, and I can be your new face for morbid obesity. Against my better judgement, I caved and agreed to have dinner there. Nothing really spectacular about the food, seriously; it was even bothering on BAD. The only difference it has to KFC are the side dishes, the option of fish (and you always have Long John’s) and the choice of paying 50 cents more so that you get 2 pieces of breast meat instead of 2 measly drumsticks. I can safely say that I won’t be going back there any time soon to eat. UGH!
In more amusing news, I recently signed up for a Safra Gym Membership at Tampines. *Pauses for expected response* . . . . . Okay, now that you’ve had a good laugh (hell, even I did after I made the payment) I shall go on about my gym experiences. In an effort to fit the paunch, which is growing by the day if I may add, I actually did something I never thought I’d do (which is sign up for a gym membership, duh). I’ve lost SOME weight after signing up, but I’m not entirely sure if it has anything to do with the gym. Not been having much of an appetite recently and perhaps that’s what making me lose some weight – hopefully I’m becoming anorexic, ha-ha. And the Safra Gym has a serious lack of hot people, it’s filled with really old people working to STAY in shape or really out of shape people (like yours truly) trying to GET in shape. At least I get to take comfort in the fact that we’re all suffering together, and at the end of the day, I’m doing something meaningful with my days-off rather than spending them rotting and sleeping at home.
What else is there to blog about? Well, I usually like to splash pictures in my blog entries, so here are some pictures taken on Zachary’s 19th. That was a really enjoyable day, if only I didn’t have to work the next day, we could have stayed out later. OMG, I'm so narcissitic! I realised most of the pictures I've posted are of me, but whatever, More pictures will be posted on facebook, eventually... HA-HA!

( ZAC'S 19TH ) I guess that’s about it? Ha-ha, told you my life was boring. Oh I just remembered, if you can, try not to watch This Is It, unless your a HUGE fan of MJ. It wasn't anything fantastic and it actually felt like I was paying to watch a bonus feature on the DVD to his concert.
However, I guess the one thing the movie did do for me was alter my impression of MJ by just a bit. Despite his awesome songs, I use to think that he was creepy, still do actually, but the movie showed a more human side to him that I think many people couldn't see due to all the media propaganda.
Can’t even begin to express how excited I am for the 05V12 popiah-dinner-get-together-thingy this Saturday XD I find myself smiling like an idiot out of the blue these few days, ha-ha. But the pessimist in me keeps wondering when things are going to take a turn for the worse. Let’s hope that things can only get better from here on out, let’s hope :) |
